About Me

Hi! I am a researcher at Hydrology and Environmental Hydraulics group, Wageningen University, the Netherlands. My academic background and research experience span environmental sciences, water resources engineering and management, hydrological modelling, and remote sensing. My goal is to improve our collective understanding of the interactions between the hydrosphere and society (anthroposphere) through co-creating knowledge with researchers, practitioners, and communities, contributing to safeguarding water availability and food security, especially for communities most vulnerable to climatic extremes, biodiversity loss, and sociopolitical instability.

Research Interest

Just Transition Water Resources Engineering Earth Observation Open Science

I’m interested in the use of disruptive technologies and data diplomacy in addressing water issues and improving environment. In my PhD research, I focused on how global remotely sensed data product (evapotranspiration) is generated, validated, shared, interpreted, and (dis)trusted in the context of water resources management. I’m also interested in interdisiplinary collaboration on using quantitative modelling as a tool to explicitly pursue justice and sustainability goals.
